Service
Individual Therapy Melbourne, FL
One-on-one psychotherapy with a licensed clinician who takes time to understand your full picture.
Overview
Individual therapy gives you a confidential, structured space to work through what is making life harder right now. At Adult & Child Counseling & Psychiatric Center, our licensed therapists meet you where you are: without judgment, without scripts, and without rushing toward a fix that does not fit your situation.
We draw on multiple evidence-based approaches: cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and others, and adapt our methods to what you need. The therapist you work with will explain their approach and check in regularly to make sure the work is moving in a direction that matters to you.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is the timeline. Some patients come in for a focused course of six to twelve sessions; others stay in ongoing care for months or years. We help you understand the difference and choose what is right for you.
